Macduff 2007 Signatory Vintage 16 Years Old – 100 Proof Exceptional Cask Edition #3

This Macduff was distilled in 2007 and, after 16 years of maturation, was bottled on March 22, 2024, by Signatory Vintage for the 100 Proof Exceptional Cask series. The whisky matured entirely in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and was bottled at a powerful 57.1% alcohol.
The nose reveals rich notes of dried fruit, cherries, figs, and honey, complemented by vanilla, chocolate, leather, and warm oak tones. The palate is full and intense with dark fruit, plums, berry jam, fudge, muscovado sugar, cocoa, and spicy accents.
The finish is long and warming, with dark chocolate, honey, blackberries, ginger, oak, and a slight dryness.
A powerful and distinct sherry-matured Highland single malt with plenty of fruit, depth, and spiciness. Bottled without chill filtration and without the addition of coloring.
