Teaninich 2008 Signatory Vintage 14 Years Old – The Nectar Exclusive

This Teaninich was distilled on December 2, 2008, and bottled in July 2023 after 14 years of maturation by Signatory Vintage for The Un-Chillfiltered Collection. The whisky matured in bourbon hogshead #718825 and was bottled exclusively for The Nectar.
The bottling was done at 46% alcohol, without chill filtration and without the addition of coloring agents.
The nose reveals fresh notes of apple and pear, complemented by eucalyptus, green herbs, and a light vegetal freshness. The palate is light and lively, with apple again, soft wood spices, licorice, ginger, and a subtle bitterness.
The finish is rather short but fresh and clean, with lingering notes of apple, herbs, and eucalyptus.
An accessible and fresh Highland single malt with a distinctly fruity character and a nice spicy touch.
