Watt Whisky Dailuaine 2012 – 11 Year Old – 58.8%

This Dailuaine 2012 was selected by the independent bottler Watt Whisky. The whisky matured for 11 years in a Refill Sherry Butt and was bottled in 2023 at a powerful 58.8% ABV. The release is limited to 552 bottles.

Maturation in a refill sherry cask gives the cask the opportunity to complement the character of Dailuaine without completely overpowering it. The result is a powerful Speyside single malt where distillate and sherry influences can coexist.

At 58.8% ABV, this whisky is presented at cask strength. It can be enjoyed neat, but a few drops of water may help to further open up its character.

This Dailuaine was bottled as a Single Cask and at Cask Strength, without added coloring and without chill filtration.
