Watt Whisky M&H 2018 – 3 Year Old – 57.1%

This M&H 2018 was distilled at the M&H Whisky Distillery in Israel and selected by the independent bottler Watt Whisky. The whisky matured for 3 years in an STR Barrel and was bottled in 2022 at 57.1% ABV. The edition is limited to just 319 bottles.

The STR cask maturation gives this young single malt a distinct character. On the nose, notes of milk chocolate and oak emerge. On the palate, the profile becomes sweeter and more powerful, with chocolate, honey, vanilla, and a clear peppery spiciness.

In addition, there are fruity accents of strawberry, while wood spices and dark chocolate come to the fore towards the finish. A few drops of water temper the strength and bring out additional sweetness.

This M&H was bottled as a Single Cask and at Cask Strength, with no added coloring and no chill filtration.
