The Arran 2006 Private Cask is an exclusive Scotch single malt whisky, specially bottled to mark the 10th anniversary of the Belgian whisky importer The Nectar. This special single cask bottling comes from the Arran distillery on the Scottish island of Arran.

The whisky was distilled on November 3, 2006, and bottled on July 6, 2016, after nine years of maturation in a bourbon cask. This aging process results in a character where fruity and malty notes are complemented by influences of vanilla, honey, and oak.

This expression was bottled at a cask strength of 53.6% alcohol, with no added coloring and no chill filtration, preserving the natural character of the whisky.

Only 215 bottles were produced from cask number 2006/038. A limited Belgian anniversary bottling that is particularly interesting for enthusiasts and collectors of exclusive Arran single cask whiskies.
