Arran 2011 Private Cask – Whisky Fair Limburg 2017 – 52.1% – 70 cl

The Arran 2011 Private Cask is an exclusive, peated single malt whisky from the Arran distillery on the Scottish island of Arran. This special single cask bottling was specifically selected for Whisky Fair Limburg 2017 and originates from a single bourbon cask.

The whisky was distilled on October 5, 2011, and bottled on February 15, 2017, after more than five years of maturation. With a peat level of 50 PPM, this expression offers a distinctively smoky character, combined with Arran's fruity and malty properties.

Maturation in a bourbon cask provides an interplay of peat smoke, vanilla, citrus fruits, soft woody notes, and spiciness. The whisky was bottled at a cask strength of 52.1%, with no added coloring and no chill filtration.

Only 285 bottles were produced from cask number 2011/1835. A unique and limited Arran bottling for lovers of peated single malts and collectors of exclusive single cask whiskies.
