Arran Remnant Renegade – The Signature Series Edition 1 – 46% – 70 cl

The Arran Remnant Renegade is the first release in the exclusive Signature Series from the Arran distillery on the Scottish island of Arran. This exceptional single malt was crafted from carefully selected whiskies sourced from sherry hogsheads, sherry butts, and bourbon casks. The result is a rich and versatile expression that combines Arran’s fresh, fruity character with the depth of sherry cask maturation.

On the nose, aromas of ripe apples, apricots, citrus fruits, honey, and vanilla emerge, complemented by subtle notes of dried fruit and sweet spices. The palate is full and vibrant, with hints of red fruit, raisins, creamy vanilla, caramelized sugar, and a refined spiciness. The finish is pleasantly warming and fruity, with nuances of oak, chocolate, and soft spices.

This special edition was bottled on September 20, 2023, at 46% ABV, with no added coloring and no chill filtration. The bottling bears the signature of the Lochranza distillery manager and is part of a limited release of 14,863 bottles.

A characterful and limited Arran single malt that offers a beautiful balance between fruity freshness, sherry influences, and spicy complexity.
