Dalmore The Trio is an elegant limited edition release from the exclusive Dalmore series. As the name suggests, this single malt matured in three different cask types , carefully selected by Master Distiller Richard Paterson to create exceptional balance and depth.

The whisky starts in classic American oak ex-bourbon casks and then gets a complex finish in:

• Moscatel wine barrels

• Matusalem oloroso sherry casks

• Amoroso sherry casks

This triple maturation produces a perfect marriage of sweet wine notes, rich sherry tones and Dalmore's iconic chocolate and citrus character.

Flavor profile

• Nose: Honey, citrus zest, soft grapes, caramel and dried fruit.

• Taste: Silky smooth and full: brown sugar, orange preserve, raisins, milk chocolate, light spices and a hint of almond.

• Finish: Medium-long, warming and balanced with notes of sherry and vanilla oak.
