This 12-year-old Macallan uses a combination of European oak sherry casks, American oak sherry casks, and American ex-bourbon oak casks. This triple cask maturation forms the basis of Macallan's softer and more refined Fine Oak style.
The combination of sherry and bourbon casks creates a beautiful balance between fruity and wood-aged notes and the softer influence of American oak. Bottled at 40% ABV.
