For this bottling, West Cork Distillers uses casks that are hand-charred inside with ancient Bog Oak – petrified, fossilised oak wood from Irish peat bogs.

This unique process gives the whiskey an unusually deep, earthy, and dark smoke note not found anywhere else in the Irish whiskey world.
