West Cork – Glengarriff Series Peat Charred Cask
West Cork – Glengarriff Series
Peat Charred Cask | Single Malt Irish Whiskey | 43% | 700 ml
The Glengarriff Series from West Cork Distillers is one of the most unique experiments to come out of Ireland.
For this “Peat Charred Cask” a selected single malt is re-finished in casks whose insides have been hand-charred with peat from the Glengarriff Forest .
This makes this whisky a rare combination of Irish elegance and Scottish peat smoke — without becoming heavy or medicinal.
The result is a characterful, accessible smoky whisky that surprises beginners and connoisseurs alike.
