Craigellachie 2009 Daily Dram 13 Years Old

This Craigellachie was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 after 13 years of maturation by Daily Dram for The Nectar of the Daily Drams. The whisky was bottled at 46% ABV.
The nose reveals ripe apple, peach, orange, and honey, complemented by malt, vanilla, nuts, and a gentle spiciness. The palate is full and pronounced, with fruity notes, pepper, malt, oak, and a light touch of coffee and cocoa.
The finish is medium-long and spicy, with lingering notes of apple, malt, dark fruit, oak, and chocolate.
A characterful Speyside single malt in which fruity sweetness blends beautifully with the robust, malty, and slightly spicy style of Craigellachie.
