Amrut Neidhal Batch No. 01 is a powerful and characterful peated single malt whisky from India , bottled in July 2021 as the first batch in the Single Malts of India series. With an ABV of 46% and no frills, this is a whisky clearly aimed at the experienced connoisseur.

Neidhal means “coast” or “sea”, and you can taste it: this expression combines Indian malt with peated barley , resulting in a distinctly smoky profile with maritime undertones.

Flavor profile
The nose reveals distinct notes of peat smoke, ash, sea salt, and light citrus. The palate is full and powerful with smoky notes, maltiness, peppery spice, and a subtle sweetness that provides balance. The finish is long, dry, and smoky, with a lingering peat and a salty edge.
