Arran 2001 Private Cask – The Nectar – 13 Years Old – 48% – 70 cl

The Arran 2001 Private Cask is an exclusive Scotch single malt whisky, specially selected and bottled for the Belgian whisky importer The Nectar. This special single cask bottling originates from the Arran distillery on the Scottish Isle of Arran.

The whisky was distilled on December 13, 2001, and bottled on September 8, 2015, after 13 years of maturation in a bourbon cask. This maturation gives the whisky an elegant character, with fruity and malty notes, complemented by soft influences of vanilla, honey, and oak.

The whisky was bottled at 48% ABV, without added coloring and without chill filtration, ensuring its natural character is preserved.

Only 235 bottles were produced from cask number 2001/872. A limited Arran bottling that combines the fruity house style of the distillery with the refinement of long-term bourbon cask maturation. An interesting expression for enthusiasts and collectors of exclusive Scotch single malt whisky.
