A blend with attitude. This Double Cask is the most straightforwardly powerful member of the Black Bottle family: dark, intense, and uncompromising.
The nose offers a blend of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and a hint of spicy smoke. On the palate, it opens with warm notes of caramel and toasted oak, followed by a deeper layer of dried fruit and a hint of dark molasses. The double-matured barrels give it extra body: round, full-bodied, and with that typical smooth Black Bottle signature, yet much deeper and more layered.
The finish is long, warm and smoky, with a subtle red fruit accent that lingers.
