Compass Box Affinity (2019)

Compass Box Affinity (2019) is one of the house's most unique creations: an experimental blend of malt whisky and a portion of Calvados from Normandy. The result is a surprisingly refined spirit that perfectly combines Scottish complexity and apple brandy.

Matured in custom French oak casks and French oak barriques , giving the spirit a warm, fruity and spicy depth.

Flavor profile:

• Nose: stewed apple, vanilla, baked pear, soft oak and light spices.

• Taste: Creamy, fruity and elegant – apple, honey, biscuit, warm wood spices and subtle sweetness of Calvados.

• Finish: medium-long, softly spicy and elegantly fruity.

Affinity is a limited release (6,028 bottles) and is considered one of the most creative Compass Box projects: refreshingly different, luxurious and ideal for lovers of fruity, elegant spirits.
