Compass Box Three Years Old Deluxe (2016)

Compass Box Three Years Old Deluxe is a playful yet brilliant whisky created by Compass Box in response to Scotland's strict age regulations. Only 3% of the whisky in this blend is truly three years old—the remaining 97% consists of much older, high-quality malt whiskies, primarily Clynelish and other rich Highland malts.

The result is a creamy, waxy, luxurious whisky with characteristic Clynelish wash, honey, vanilla, ripe peach, and a soft spiced edge. Despite its humorous name, this is a serious bottling with deep flavor complexity and is widely regarded as one of the most refined Compass Box releases of the year.
