This Dalwhinnie 2002 Distillers Edition is an official distillery bottling, distilled in 2002 and bottled on 14 August 2017. After a classic maturation, this single malt was given a double maturation with an Oloroso sherry finish , which provides extra depth and a richer flavour structure.

The nose reveals honey, soft malt, apple, dried fruit, and a light spiciness . The palate is round and elegant, with toffee, raisins, nuts, subtle sherry influences, and a fresh Highland undertone . The finish is smooth, slightly spicy, and beautifully balanced.

At 43% ABV and with a refined character, this is a highly accessible yet layered single malt, ideal for lovers of classic Highland whiskies with a soft sherry note.
