Eddu 2013 – Selected for Belgium

Breton Wheat Whiskey – Distillerie des Menhirs

This Eddu 2013 – Selected for Belgium is a rare and characterful Breton wheat whisky , exclusively selected for the Belgian market. Distilled by Distillerie des Menhirs from 100% black wheat (blé noir) , a grain typical of Brittany, it gives it a distinctly smooth, rounded style.

The whisky matured for eight years in cognac casks , which adds depth, fruitiness, and an elegant woody note. Bottled at 49.5% ABV, without excessive filtration, with a clear focus on flavor and structure. Limited to 476 bottles , this bottling immediately offers significant added value for both enthusiasts and collectors.

Flavor profile
The nose offers floral notes of ripe apple, pear, honey, and soft grape aromas. The palate is round and creamy with hints of dried fruit, vanilla, light spices, and a subtle cognac influence. The finish is warm, elegant, and refined, with lingering fruitiness and soft woody notes.
