Filliers Dry Gin 28 – Barrel Aged (43.7% vol.) – 50 cl
Filliers Dry Gin 28 – Barrel Aged (43.7% vol.) – 50 cl
Batch 01/18/07 – Bottle 1751
This Filliers Dry Gin 28 – Barrel Aged is based on the authentic recipe of Firmin Filliers (3rd generation) and is traditionally produced by the Filliers Distillery , active since 1880.
After distillation, this gin matures for several months in French Limousin oak barrels (300 liters) previously used for cognac. The barrels are medium toasted, which adds depth without suppressing the gin's character. The barrel aging tempers the floral and citrus notes and adds softer, rounder notes of vanilla, flowers, and a subtle hint of licorice .

Serving suggestion
Excellent neat or on the rocks to fully appreciate the barrel influence. Also interesting in a refined gin & tonic with a very neutral tonic.
Character
A layered, elegant barrel-aged gin where tradition and barrel aging complement each other. No gimmick, but a mature, balanced interpretation of gin with added depth.
