Glen Garioch 1998 Wine Cask Matured is a rich and characterful Highland single malt, fully matured in former Bordeaux wine casks. This 15-year-old bottling – Batch 24 – combines the robust, traditional Glen Garioch house style with the refined fruitiness and tannins of red wine casks.

The nose offers notes of ripe berries, candied fruit, warm spices, and oak. The palate develops a full, rounded structure with hints of red grapes, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a subtle spiciness. The finish is long, vinous, and elegantly dry, with a gentle warmth.

This is a 2014 bottling from a limited run of 5,400 bottles , bottled at 48% ABV – non-chill-filtered and bursting with character. An ideal choice for lovers of cask-aged wine and the powerful, classic style of Glen Garioch.
