Glenfarclas Passion – The Legend of Speyside
A limited edition Glenfarclas from the special The Legend of Speyside series, released in 2014 and originally intended for the German market.
The series consists of three bottlings that refer to important elements in the history of Glenfarclas: Passion, Team, and Springs. Only 6,000 bottles of each version were released.
Glenfarclas Passion matured in sherry casks and was bottled at a pleasant drinking strength of 46% vol. The whisky is non-chill filtered and has retained its natural color.
In the glass, this Glenfarclas displays the distillery's classic character. Expect aromas of fruit, raisins, honey, and sherry, followed by notes of dark chocolate, coffee, soft oak, and a light spiciness.
This bottling dates back to 2014 and is now only available in limited quantities. This makes Passion not only interesting to drink, but also for collectors who wish to complete the full Legend of Speyside trilogy.
