The Glenlivet Cipher is one of the distillery's most mysterious releases ever. At its 2016 launch, no official tasting notes were released: no nose, no palate, no finish. Everything was deliberately kept secret—aficionados and connoisseurs had to crack the riddle themselves.

The result is a whisky that has now achieved cult status, partly thanks to its limited edition and the unique black bottle without details.
