This Green Spot Château Léoville Barton is a special edition within the Green Spot series, born from a collaboration between Mitchell & Son and the renowned Château Léoville Barton from Saint-Julien (Bordeaux). The whiskey was traditionally matured in American oak barrels and then finished in red Bordeaux wine barrels , which adds depth and refinement.

The nose reveals ripe orchard fruit, green apple, vanilla, and soft spices , complemented by subtle notes of red berries and wood . The palate is rich and layered: pear, apple, honey, and a creamy pot-still texture , followed by dark fruit, light tannins, and an elegant spiciness from the barrel. The finish is long, dry, and refined , with a beautiful balance between fruit and wood.

At 46% ABV and with a distinct yet balanced style, this is an excellent single pot still for the enthusiast who wants to combine classic Irish with finesse and complexity.
