It's a classic distillery bottling at 40% ABV , originating from a time when Highland Park's style was clearly more traditional, drier, and less sweet than it is today.

This old expression is known for its characteristic Orkney heather smoke , combined with soft honey notes, malt, and a slight maritime influence. Compared to the current 12-year-old expression, this version is more subtle, less polished, and authentic in character .
