Inchgower 14 Year Old 2009–2024 – Cadenhead's Original Collection

Single Malt Scotch Whiskey – Speyside – 46%

This Inchgower 14-year-old was distilled in 2009 and bottled in May 2024 by Cadenhead's , Scotland's oldest independent bottler. It's part of the Original Collection , which stands for a natural whisky: non-chill-filtered and without added color , bottled at 46% ABV .

The whisky was first matured in an ex-Springbank refill cask and was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from 2022. This combination produces an interesting balance between the firm, slightly salty character of Inchgower and the soft, dark sweetness of PX.

Character & style
Inchgower is known for its powerful, slightly maritime style , and that remains clearly evident here. The PX finish adds depth and roundness without obscuring the distillate character. A whisky for connoisseurs who seek more complexity than a classic fruity Speyside , but without a heavy sherry bomb.
