Jim Beam Devil's Cut is an intense bourbon with extra character. During aging, some of the whiskey evaporates ("Angel's Share"), but another portion is steeped deep in the wood fibers of the barrel. It is precisely this concentrated, wood-soaked portion that is extracted from the barrel here—the "Devil's Cut."
The result is a bourbon with more depth, richer oak notes and a more powerful flavor than the classic Jim Beam.
