A deep, smoky Islay classic, refined further by a second maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks. The Lagavulin Distillers Edition 2004/2019 combines the power of peat smoke with the sweet richness of PX sherry for an exceptional balance of flavour.
Flavor profile

Nose: Intensely peaty, warm smoke, raisins, dark caramel and a hint of sea salt.

Palate: Creamy and full; rich sherry sweetness, dates, spices, soft layers of smoke and a touch of dark chocolate.

Finish: Very long, warming and sweet-smoky, typical Lagavulin but softer and rounder than the standard 16y.
