The Macallan Terra is part of the Quest Collection, a range specially developed for Global Travel Retail.
This Speyside Single Malt was composed using whisky matured in first-fill European and American oak sherry casks. By using exclusively first-fill sherry-seasoned oak, the emphasis is clearly on the rich, sherry-cask-driven style for which Macallan is known.
The Terra was bottled in 2017 at 43.8% ABV and has retained its natural colour. As a Travel Retail release from the Quest Collection, this is an interesting Macallan for both enthusiasts and collectors.
