Matured in Virgin Oak and Refill American Oak , which gives this whisky its intensely meaty Mortlach profile, while also adding layers of fresh oak, spice and sweetness.

Tasting notes

  • Nose: Honey, light smoke, vanilla, ripe stone fruit, oak spices.

  • Palate: Full and oily. Hints of toasted oak, white pepper, toffee, orchard fruit, and Mortlach's characteristic meaty depth.

  • Finish: Long, warm and spicy with notes of sweet malt and wood spices.
