Paul John Mars Orbiter – Indian Single Malt (2018)
Paul John Mars Orbiter – Indian Single Malt
Export Only · 325 bottles · Space Mission Edition
This exceptional Paul John bottling was created to commemorate the Indian Mars Orbiter Mission (November 5, 2013) – a historic moment that definitively put India on the global space map. Only 325 bottles were released worldwide, exclusively for export.
The whisky was distilled in November 2013 , shortly after the launch of the Mars Orbiter, and bottled in 2018 at a powerful 57.8% cask strength . Maturation took place exclusively in bourbon casks , resulting in an intense yet elegant expression that combines power and finesse.
Trial profile
The nose reveals notes of dark honey, tropical fruit, warm spices, and subtle smoke . The palate is rich and concentrated: caramelized sugars, toasted oak, cocoa, pepper, and a light mineral note . The finish is long, warm, and complex, with a lingering spiciness and soft woody notes.

Investment & collection perspective
This is n't a hype bottle , but a document in liquid form . The combination of an extremely low mintage, unique context, and high quality makes this a bottle that rarely resurfaces. Ideal for the collector seeking story + scarcity + substance , not quick resale.
A whisky for those who understand that true value doesn't have to be loud.
