Penderyn Rich Oak is a single malt from Penderyn Distillery , part of the Gold Series. This whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and European ex-wine casks , which provides extra depth and a warmer wood structure than the classic Penderyn style.

Penderyn is known for its light, elegant distillate, and that remains clearly evident here. The wine barrels add more body, spice, and oak notes , without completely losing the fresh character. Rich Oak sits nicely between accessible and layered: more pronounced than the base expressions, but without becoming heavy or dominant.

This is a balanced, wood-driven whisky that focuses on finesse and drinkability.
