Description

This Plantation One-Time Limited Edition Jamaica 2007 MSP is a powerful and complex rum from the Clarendon Distillery, known for its rich, funky, and estery style. Distilled in 2007 and then tropically matured for 13 years in Jamaica in bourbon casks, it developed deep, warm aromas with a strong woody influence. It was then matured for a further two years in France in Ferrand Cognac casks, adding further finesse and fruity elegance.

Tasting notes

Nose: Ripe banana, grilled pineapple, creamy vanilla, wood spices, light solvent esteriness typical of Clarendon.
Palate: Full, intense, and rounded. Notes of tropical fruit, oak, caramel, spices, and a hint of funky Jamaican flair.
Finish: long, warm, savoury and fruity with a nice balance between strength and finesse.
