Plantation Rum – Fiji Islands 2004 (19 Years) – One-Time Limited Edition – 50.3%

The Plantation Fiji 2004 is an exceptional limited edition rum made from just 18 casks – a true rarity. Distilled in 2004 by the Rum Co. of Fiji and bottled only in 2023 , it has been aged for 19 years in two completely different climates.

Maturation

  • 17 years tropical in Lautoka, Fiji (bourbon barrels – 200L)

  • 2 years continental in Javrezac, France (Ferrand barrels – 350L)

This double maturation creates a complex, deep flavour structure that combines both the warm, tropical character of Fiji with the refined French influence.

Flavor profile

  • Nose: tropical fruit, vanilla, caramelized banana, light smoky note.

  • Taste: intense, spicy, hints of wood, sugar cane, coconut, stewed fruit.

  • Finish: long, warm, elegant and aromatic.
