The Puni Vina 5 Year Old is an Italian single malt from Puni Distillery , matured for five years in virgin Marsala casks . This Marsala Edition explicitly focuses on wine influences and clearly distinguishes itself from classic whisky profiles.

Marsala is a fortified wine from Sicily ( Marsala ), known for its oxidative, nutty, and slightly sweet style. That influence is clearly present here: ripe fruit, raisin, nuttiness, and a vinous structure. The Puni distillate remains relatively light, allowing the barrel to speak clearly without being completely dominant.

This is not a traditional whisky, but a conscious crossover between whisky and wine maturation.
