This Strathmill 1989 is a classic, long-matured single malt from the Blackadder Raw Cask series, bottled in June 2013 after an impressive 23 years of maturation. The whisky was matured in a refill sherry puncheon , which creates a balanced and layered style without the wood overpowering the distillation character.

As with all Raw Cask bottlings, this whisky was bottled directly from the cask , without added color and without chill filtration . The result is a mature Speyside whisky with depth, smoothness, and complexity, where time and cask have done the work.

Limited to 305 bottles , this is an authentic, traditional bottling that fits perfectly within the older Blackadder range.
