This Tullibardine 12 Years Old , bottled in 2023 by Cadenhead's , was matured in a PX sherry cask . This results in a noticeably richer and darker style than the classic bourbon-matured Tullibardines, without losing all of their freshness.

The nose reveals raisins, dates, dark caramel, milk chocolate , and a soft spiciness. The palate is full and rounded , with sweet sherry notes , brown sugar , toffee , dried fruit , and a faint hint of coffee and cocoa. The 46% alcohol content provides ample body while remaining beautifully integrated. The finish is medium-long , warm, and slightly sweet, with sherry and oak notes that gently fade away.

Tullibardine is known for its smooth, accessible spirit, and that provides an ideal base for the PX influence. This isn't an overblown sherry bomb, but a comfortable, rounded whisky that's easy to drink and appeals to a wide audience.
