The Tyrconnell 10 Years Madeira is a refined expression of this classic Irish single malt. After a lengthy 10-year maturation in American oak barrels, the whiskey was finished in Madeira wine casks , adding extra richness and a subtle sweetness to the crisp Tyrconnell profile.

The nose reveals ripe apple, citrus, honey, and vanilla , complemented by raisins and light nutty notes from the Madeira cask. The palate is round and balanced, with stone fruit, caramel, soft spices, and an elegant, vinous sweetness . The finish is medium to long , warm, and slightly dry, with a lovely balance between fruit and oak.

At 46% ABV and with added maturity, this is a mature yet still approachable Irish single malt , ideal for those looking for a little more than an entry-level whisky.
