Waterloo 2019 – The Brancardier – Single Grain (2024)
Waterloo 2019 – The Brancardier – Single Grain (43%, 500ml)
Belgian Single Grain • French Oak & Bourbon • Batch 3
Waterloo Distillery (Mont-Saint-Jean) presents " The Brancardier ," a rare Belgian single-grain brew made and matured entirely on the historic farm where Napoleon had his field hospital in 1815. This edition from batch 3 was distilled in 2019 and bottled in January 2024, at 5 years of age.
Matured in a combination of French oak (30L & 228L) and bourbon casks , resulting in a surprisingly full and characterful style for such a young whisky.
